Dream come true wishes for ‘A Billion Dreams’

For a cricketer a message or good luck wish from Sachin Tendullkar will be no less than a billion dreams. Similarly, great Rajnikanth and Shah Rukh Khan wishing for the success of a movie will be like a dream come true for anyone associated with the movie. Even for the ‘God of Cricket’, who is dreaming the success of his ‘A Billion Dreams’. Also add to the list of well-wishers Madhuri Dixit Nene.

The master of cricket received the best wishes for his movie Sachin: A Billion Dreams from the ‘Master of Celluloid’. Superstar Rajinikanth has extended his wishes to Sachin for his upcoming biographical documentary.

“Dear Sachin. My best wishes for the success of  Sachin: A Billion Dreams’. God bless,” Rajinikanth tweeted.

Directed by James Erskine, the film is slated for theatrical release on May 26. The film, which features Sachin himself, captures the Little Master’s cricket and personal life in substantial detail, which will be shedding light on some never heard aspects of his life.

Produced by 200 NotOut Productions, the movie has music by double Oscar-winning composer A.R Rahman. The film’s trailer was released last week and was well received.

The two-minute 14-second trailer has crossed two crore views on youtube in a mere five days’ time. The one-minute teaser released earlier has been watched 80 lakh times.

The biographical movie captures Sachin’s journey from a curly-haired young prodigy to the most successful batsman in global cricket. The Master Blaster has also touched the ugliest part of his cricketing journey – the match-fixing saga.

In his own inimitable way, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Wednesday wished Sachin Tendulkar for his upcoming film and elicited a philosophical response from the cricket legend. Shah Rukh’s good luck post though stood out.

Tendulkar, who rarely shows his emotions, gave a glimpse of his philosophical side while responding to Shah Rukh. “I believed, when u did well I would 2 & when u didn’t,I will fail. Like a billion others I miss my guiding lite. ATB for the film (sic),” Shah Rukh tweeted.

In reply, Tendulkar tagged Shah Rukh’s post and replied: “Zindagi me haar na hoti to koi kabhi jeet ta nahi aur kuch seekhta bhi nahi. Touched by your words like a billion others, love u @iamsrk :—) (sic).”

Among the other notable personalities to have wished Tendulkar include Dixit-Nene, Shreya Ghosal.
