There are not many names in Indian Broadcast Industry who have the experience of managing channels of all genres. Be it sports, music or News – Ashish has managed it all hands-on. Starting with TV Today’s first 24×7 news channel AAJ TAK ever since itsinception , to Star News (now ABP News, Star Cricket, ESPN and then moving on to the genre of music by successfully overseeing the programming and business operations of E-24, he has been an integral part of Indian broadcast industry’s growth. From managing programming of various channels to bidding & managing media rights of key sporting properties for ESPN, Ashish has a unique distinction of excelling on each front – business as well as the content.
Ashish is also the face of Sports on Indian News and Sports channels. With an experience of over 19 years in the industry as sports journalism / sports producer and programmer / sports anchoring & sports management, he is one of India’s most traveled and experienced names in the field of sports journalism and administration. He has an experience of working for global Sporting powerhouses – TWI London, ESPN STAR SPORTS, Al Jajeera and many other international and Indian channels. He is an English literature graduate and post-graduate from St Stephen’s & Hansraj Colleges and an MBA from Nanyang University, Singapore.

Karan is founder of ZIRCA, the global digital solutions company that provides state-of-the-art digital advertising and content solutions to brands. He has received his education in Virginia, USA. Having completed his B.Sc in International Finance, he has enrolled for the final semester of MBA in Corporate Finance at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, USA. He was designated as President and Chief Analyst of the Student’s Managed Investment Portfolio of the Virginia Commonwealth University, for two consecutive years. He has been nominated as member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society, USA and International Honors Society of Financial Management Association. He is also Director of Group Housing Development Pvt. Ltd. and Gold Finger Realty Investors Pvt. Ltd.
RAJENDAR SHARMA – Editor, InsideSport
Rajender Sharma, in charge for editorial strategies, is a veteran sports journalist. He has close to three decades of experience with various print, broadcast and new media platforms. He has also had an impressive stint with professional sports administration where he was an integral part of the teams to conceptualize, create and operate national sports leagues like the Indian Badminton League and the Pro Wrestling League. A Delhi University graduate and an avid sports fan, Rajender is among the few sports journalists with a deep understanding of games sporting and commercial nuances. Rajender started his journalistic career with The Statesman in late 1980s, before moving to Broadcast sports journalism in 2001. He has held key editorial portfolios for Transworld International, the global television arm IMG; TV Today group network channels Aajtak and Headlines Today (Now TV Today). He was part of the core group to re-launch the Sahara News channel as Sahara Samay, besides being a Director Operations and Head of (Broadcast) Production for the Indian Badminton League and Pro Wrestling League.
