The logo for the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was unveiled on Tuesday.
The logo beautifully captures 10 golden years of the tournament with the iconic pose of a batsman playing a shot alongside the logos of Vivo and IPL.
The league will start from April 5. The opening encounter will be between the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad . A repeat of the last year’s thrilling 2016 IPL final.
The star-studded 10th season of the league will give fans a first-hand experience of the VIVO IPL Trophy with its multi-city Trophy Tour.
Fans can also experience a stadium-like environment at IPL fan parks across 38 cities.
The auction for the IPL 2017 saw a total of Rs 91.15 crore was collectively spent by the eight franchises to buy 66 players from a pool of 350 plus that went under the hammer.
The English duo of Ben Stokes bought for Rs 14.5 cr by the Rising Pune Supergiants, and Tymal Mills Rs 12cr Royal Challengers Bangalore made the heads turn with their whopping price tag.
