After the Virat Kohli’s autographed T-shirt has earned Rs 3 lakh Shahid Afridi Foudation, the Indian cricket team captain has extended another noble gesture to the charity.
Virat has donated a cricket bat with his autographs to the former Pakistan captain for his charity Shahid Afridi Foundation. The charity is raising funds to build a hospital in the Thar region of Pakistan. Afridi has been involved with philanthropic activities since his playing days, dailypakistan.com.pk has reported.
The flamboyant Pak cricketer immediately shared the news on twitter while thanking Kohli for this noble gesture.

Afridi later told the Pakistan’s TV channel Geo News that Kohli’s gesture was a great sign for humanity and people wanted to watch him play cricket in Pakistan. “We must encourage good things, regardless of who is doing it,” said Afridi. “Kohli is a legend and he has always been very supportive and I am very thankful to him for his support,” he added.
The 37-year-old Pakistani athlete confirmed that Kohli’s bat will be auctioned for his Thar hospital project and the auction will take place in Newcastle, England.
