Aneesh Surender Madani has resigned from his position of sports partnerships head in Twitter.
Twitter head of sports partnerships, Asia Pacific, Madani has reportedly quit the social media platform after a long five-year association.
Madani had joined Twitter in November 2013 as the head of sports partnership for the Indian market. His portfolio was extended to the India and South East Asia market in November 2106, and then he took the charge of entire Asia Pacific in June 2017.
The sports broadcast professional had taken to twitter officially announce that he will be logging out of the twitter. “It’s time for the next adventure! @Twitter, you will always have my heart. #LoveWhereYouWorked,” read his post.
Madani brings with him a long experience in sports broadcast industry. Prior to the twitter assignments, he has had a brief stint with Neo Sports Broadcast. He has also served the Nimbus Communication.
Outside sports, Madani had been associated with Leo Burnett India as a brand strategy associate. His affair with sports had started with the Indian Premier League team Royal Challengers Bangalore where he was the Chief Blogger for seven months between March and September 2010.
