Apex Legends Global Series Championship 2021 hits the 2.5 million USD prize pool through crowd funding event:The Apex Legends Global Series Championship is currently going on for all regional majors but still players don’t know about prize pool. They don’t know how much they were competing for. Recently Electronic Arts (EA), developers of Apex Legends and Respawn Entertainment announced the current prize pool for the event.

The Apex Legends Global Series Championship’s prize pool is come from crowd funding. When a player buy anything in game like skins, battle pass or anything, the 20% of the revenue added in to the prize pool. EA recently announced the current prize pool which is $2.5 million USD after the successful crowd funding event. This is not the final prize pool for the event, it is spectaculed that the maximum 3 million prize pool would be collect through crowd funding.

Apex Legends Global Series originally announced with $1 million prize pool on May 22. After some time Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment announced crowd funding event which would take place to increase the prize pool for the Apex Legends Global Series Championship 2021. Players could purchase up to five bundles which added exclusively for crowd funding event. Four of the bundles contained few cosmetic items which added $5 USD in the prize pool on the other hand last bundle is Animal Kingdom bundle which added $20 USD in the prize pool for each purchase.

After the announcement of Crowd funding event for prize pool of Apex Legends Global Series Championship 2021 on June 13, the game has raised $1.5 million USD for prize pool in one year time period. The exact final amount in last announcement hits $2,580,590 USD. This is the largest prize pool event in the Apex Legends history. This success of Crowd funding rubbed off on the esports scene of Apex Legends. The Apex Legends Global Series winter season has saw 100,000 average viewership on the live stream. It will be intresting to see the numbers this time. The Grand finals of Apex Legends Global Series Championship 2021 will take place later this month.
