Apex Legends: War Games Mode. Check Event Details & What’s New. Five new game modes are making their way to Apex Legends in the War games event starting from April 13th. Player are in for a good amount of fresh Apex action as the new modes will take turns replacing the default playlist for a two-week event.

According to an article by Dot Esports, the first brand new game grants each player a free respawn per match. Named Second Chance, whenever a player dies for the first time in this mode, they can skydive back into the game without loosing any weapons & gear. Batches such as The Assassin, Wake, and Wrath is not available in this mode as this mode makes them easier to unlock.

Up next is the Ultra Zone. This mode adds several hot zones to a map, i.e. more high-tier loot in multiple locations. Each Hot Zone is also covered in a Flash Point that recharge both HP and Shields to players standing inside it.

The third one is Auto Banners. The official description of this mode reads ‘Tune-in mid event for Auto Banners. In this modifier we’ve made a rather small but spicy change to squadmate respawning. Your Squadmates Banner Cards are automatically retrieved! No need to loot their death box to retrieve their Banner Cards, just head straight to a respawn beacon. The loot pool has been altered to contain more Mobile Respawn Beacons too.’

The Killing Time mode is the fourth on the list. In this mode, the round time of a match decreases each time a legend falls. If the round becomes a bloodbath, the ring will begin to close in a lot faster. A mode for those who want a more fast paced Apex experience.

Last but not least is the Armor Regen. In this mode, players are able to regenerate their Armor at a steady pace of 12 points per second. Each time a player takes damage, there’s a cooldown period of 8 seconds before the armour starts repairing itself. In case the armor is totally destroyed the cooldown period extends to 16 seconds.
