Asha Thacker has resigned from her present position as the Sports Partnership Head at Facebook India.
Asha moves out of the organisation after three and a half years of service for developing the social media platforms portfolio of sports content. Today (Friday) is her last in day in the Facebook India office, sources have confirmed to Insidesport.com.
Asha had joined Facebook in May 2015 after quitting IMG Reliance, where she had been the General Manager, Strategic Alliance.

The seasoned professional, Asha is moving out at a time when Facebook is working to build its sports content. There is no confirmation on her immediate professional plans.
The social media giant had made big headlines for its ₹ 3,900 crore bid for the Indian Premier League digital rights, which though failed to materialise as STAR Sports had swept the deal with its best consolidated bid.
Facebook earlier this year had hired two top sports media professionals former EuroSports Chief Executive Peter Hutton and Joyee Biswas to lead the sports content team.
