Asian Cricket Council invites tender for sponsorship rights

Asian Cricket Council has floated invitation to tender for the sponsorship rights package of the Asia Cup tournaments between 2020 and 2023.

The package includes sponsorship rights for the Asia Cup tournament and its qualifiers; Women’s Asia Cup tournament; Under-19 Asia Cup tournament and Emerging Asia Cup tournaments during the rights period.

The successful bidder will get global sponsorship rights for one title sponsorship, four associate sponsorships and four official partner packages, states the ACC’s invitation to tender notice. An official partner category has been reserved under “pouring partner” for a beverage brand.

Interested parties can take the IIT document, “containing terms and conditions governing the submission and evaluation of bids, eligibility requirement and performance obligations”, between August 14 and 20. The tender documents can be bought via email to thusith@asiancricket.org with a copy to presidentacc@asiancricket.org. The parties will have to share their request for IIT on the official letterhead. The IIT documents’ of $5,000 can by paid by bank transfer to the ACC Account.

The payment can be made to the Asian Cricket Council FZ-LLC in the ACC’s Standard Chartered Bank Account and proof of the payment will have to be furnished with the application.

The final bids will have to be submitted in person at 10 am on August 27 at the meeting of the Asia Cup Tender Evaluation Committee or “any other committee appointed by the ACC Board”. The meeting will take place in Dubai, UAE or “any other place informed by the ACC.
