Australia tour of Bangladesh: Top 5 in-form players to watch out for in the T20I series – Australia will take on Bangladesh in a five-match T20I series starting from August 3 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. Australia is coming into the series after facing a 4-1 series defeat against West Indies while Bangladesh will be high on confidence after thrashing Zimbabwe 2-1 in three-match T20I series. Both the teams will be missing some key players because of injury. However, Australia will be counting on Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Marsh and Josh Hazlewood who are in top form while the hosts will want Soumya Sarkar and Shoriful Islam to continue their purple patch. Australia pacer Mitchell Starc is coming to his own as the World Cup is closing. Starc had an average T20 series where he could only take 1 wicket in four games against West Indies but he came back strong in the ODI series by picking up 11 wickets in three games with an extra-ordinary average of 10.64. If Australia wants to make comeback into the shortest format of the game, Starc will be a key bowler.

Mitchell Marsh took the responsibility of scoring most of the runs for his side in the absence of key players. In the T20I series against West Indies, he played five matches in which he scored 219 runs at an average of 43.80 and an explosive strike rate of 152.08. He impressed with his bowling as well, where he picked 8 wickets in five games.

Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood, who is trying to secure his place in the T20 squad, has announced his comeback in form by taking 5 wickets in two ODI games against West Indies. He also picked four wickets in four games with an average of 29.00. He alongside Mitchell Starc can be a very big threat for Bangladesh. (BAN vs AUS)

Bangladesh opening batsman Soumya Sarkar scored 126 runs in the three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe. He was averaging 42.00 and had a decent strike rate of 124.75. Sarkar will have to tackle the duo of Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood upfront in the innings. His performance will be very crucial. He also picked 3 wickets with the ball, he also picked 3 wickets.

Shoriful Islam took six wickets in three games against Zimbabwe. He is in top-notch form and can tame the inexperienced bowling line-up. In the ODI series as well he picked 5 wickets in two games.
