Australian Open 2021: Jennifer Brady defeats Jessica Pegula to enter semifinal- 22nd seeded Jennifer Bardy has entered the semifinal of the Australian Open 2021 after defeating Jessica Pegula in the quarterfinal. Brady came back from behind, losing the opening set, to win the remaining two-sets 6-2, 6-1. The American will next meet Karolina Mucova, who defeated World No.1 Ash Barty, in the semifinal of the Australian Open 2021 semifinal.

“I hope I make it a habit. Hopefully, I have a new habit of making finals! Brady will play Karolina Muchova for a spot in her first grand slam final,” Brady said in the post-match interview.
