“I hope I make it a habit. Hopefully, I have a new habit of making finals! Brady will play Karolina Muchova for a spot in her first grand slam final,” Brady said in the post-match interview.
Brady was among those 72 tennis players who were placed in strict quarantine last month after a passenger of her Melbourne bound flight had tested positive for COVID-19.
The 22nd seed said that she decided to remain positive during the quarantine period instead of criticizing the organizers.
“A lot of people were complaining and I told myself I wasn’t going to complain, “Brady told local media on Monday.
The World No.2 Rafael Nadal and 4th seeded Daniil Medvedev will be in action against A Rublev and Stefanos Tsitsipas later today.
