Concussion Substitute Rule
In July 2019, the ICC agreed to allow the use of concussion replacements in all international cricket matches from 1 August 2019, with the substitute having to be a “like-for-like replacement” and approved by the Match Referee.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim scored a much-needed century in order to help his side reach a respectable score of 246. Rahim scored 125 runs off just 127 balls with the help of 10 boundaries. He played with a strike rate of 98.43.
