BARC Ratings: PKL attracts more eyeballs than Kohli’s double ton

Star Sports 1 Hindi at top of the most-watched sports channels table has made significant gains on the back of Virat Kohli and Team India’s remarkable performance in the second Test against South Africa. However, in any given slot to be considered for the most-watched sports programs list, Pro Kabaddi League LIVE broadcast has dethroned LIVE Test cricket.

The Top 5 most-watched shows for week 41 (October 5-11, 2019) in the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) ratings are a complete clean sweep by the PKL LIVE broadcast with the Delhi Dabang vs U Mumba tie on Star Sports First at the Great Noida Stadium emerging atop the table. The match also figures at the 5th position for simulcast on Star Sports 1 Hindi. In each of the other three positions, there are games featuring the Bengal team.
