Battlegrounds PUBG Mobile India: Case registered against Paras Singh, a Youtuber for racist comments on MLA: Social Media influencer and a YouTuber, Paras Singh who have a Youtube channel with the of ‘Paras Official‘, has posted a video on Sunday where he allegedly termed “Ering ( MLA of Arunachal Pradesh) is a non-Indian guy and Arunachal Pradesh (state) is not part of India it is a part of China.” A case has been filed against Paras Singh who lives in Punjab.

Pema Khandu, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, posted on Twitter “Based on the video that aims at inciting ill will and hatred towards the people of Arunachal Pradesh, ArunachalPolice has already initiated action as under:-A case under has been registered against Mr. Paras u/s 124A/ 153A/ 505(2) IPC. Social media account of the person is being thoroughly investigated for details about his activities. Technical resources are being employed to gather his current whereabouts.Use of Social media should be with due caution and any infringement will lead to action as per law.”

Ninong Ering is a former Arunachal Pradesh Member of Parliament and sitting Congress legislator. Paras Singh is a gamer who plays games (especially PUBG Mobile) and streams them on YouTube. He has a good subscriber base on YouTube where he has more than 4 lakh subscribers on the platform.

What was the matter?

Previously, Ninong Ering wrote a letter to PMO, wherein the letter he had asked the Prime Minister of India to not allow the Battlegrounds Mobile India (Rebranded version of PUBG Mobile). He mentioned in the letter that the government had banned 108 apps including PUBG Mobile last due to security concerns and now they are re-launching the game with a new name. While reacting to the letter by Ering, Paras made a racists comment on him and the state too.

Paras Singh commented on the video, “I don’t think he is an Indian. Arunachal Pradesh is on China’s side and it belongs to the people of China. In a way, Arunachal Pradesh is with China touches India a little.”

Reacting to this video, Ering made the comment, “This immature comment made by Paras Singh has not hurt me personally. He has the right to point out mistakes or to oppose anything, but the racist remarks are serious which should not be done. This was not the first time when I had requested the government to ban these apps.”

Later Paras posted a video on his channel apologizing for making such remarks. Check out the video below. In another video, his mother was seen apologizing on behalf of Paras.
