The Board of Control for Cricket in India has invited applications to fill the post of the General Manager, cricket operations.
The BCCI is seeking to fill the vacancy that has fallen vacant following the resignation of general manager of cricket operations MV Sridhar, a former first-class cricketer.
The board has put the information on its official website www.bcci.tv. The Press release read: “The Board of Control for Cricket in India (“BCCI”) invites applications for the post of General Manager-Cricket Operations.”
The Board is looking for a talented and highly motivated individual who will lead the cricket operations and manage the international and domestic cricket for the Board. Applications should be submitted by 11.59 pm on Monday, 23 October 2017 at firstname.lastname@example.org.”
The applicant should either be a cricket expert or someone who has played at the highest level.
Sridhar, who was allegedly under the scanner over financial impropriety in his home association Hyderabad during his tenure as the State body head, had quit the board post late last month.
