The Board of Control for Cricket in India will appoint Producer and Social Media Manager at its National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
The job profile will include content creation and oversee production work process for BCCI – NCA Digital and Media properties, besides managing the social media handles of the NCA.
The selected candidate will have to work with the NCA Staff, including coaches, strength & conditioning specialists and the physiotherapists bezides supporting BCCI producers to develop different programme ideas and concepts.
The job profile will include:
Ø Strategize, Curate, Edit and Manage content for NCA
Ø Develop a clear sitemap of the type of content that can be churned out from different departments
Ø Oversee the production of digital media including videos, website development
Ø Manage BCCI & NCA Content management system
Ø Complete relevant research work for the projects by gathering knowledge and information from the available resources
Ø Actively participate in the creative work by getting involved in the development of features, interviews and other video/article content, also suggesting improvements if needed
Ø Create a repository of videos and photos that can be used at regular intervals and set timelines to publish content
Ø Handling the editing, packaging and supervision of post-production work
Ø Create, shoot, edit, collaborate, and produce video content as per requirement
Ø Should possess excellent knowledge on the technical aspects involved in the production and should be able to operate different types of tools and production equipment
Ø Keep track of digital trends, create content around them and analyse the results of work
Ø Handling official social media accounts for NCA
Ø Prepare accurate status reports
Ø Escalation of issues, as appropriate to project stakeholders/ management

The NCA has also invited application for two cricketing posts – fast bowling coach and cricket analyst (Cricket & Sports Science). The fast bowling coach will report to NCA head, batting legend Rahul Dravid.
As per the advertisement, “The fast-bowling coach will be responsible for supporting the NCA head in the preparation, development and performance of all the cricketers attending training at the academy. Both the fast-bowling coach and the NCA head will be jointly responsible for the development of emerging and young fast bowlers within the male and female player development programmes, who are sent to the NCA.
“The remit may include, but not limited to, India Senior men’s Team, India A sides, under-23, Under-19, Under-16 team players, as well as state association players who train at the NCA and upgrade their fast-bowling skills at the NCA.
“The fast-bowling coach will assist the India men and women teams’ head coaches, head coach for India developmental teams –including under-19 and under 23 in preparation of India’s fast-bowling talent. He will assist the Indian men’s and women’s head coach, coach for India developmental teams and the junior and senior national selectors in spotting fast bowling talent and developing them.”
The cricket analyst will have to “aggregate , administer, manage, and analyse all aspects of data pertaining to Cricket Analytics including player performance and game data ncluding visual data arising from Game Analytics, Rehabilitation, Strength and Conditioning , Technology used directly and peripherally in International , domestic cricket and Training arenas , and provide insights for management decision making.”
