Balkrishna Industries Limited (BKT), India’s leading manufacturer of off-highway tires, has signed on with Sankar Cements Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL)as the associate sponsors.
The fourth edition of TNPL gets underway tomorrow (Friday) at Dindigul with former champions ‘Chepauk Super Gillies’ taking on last year’s finalists ‘Dindigul Dragons’.
Leveraging the association, BKT will undertake extensive branding at the tournament including pitch mats, LED boards and interview and press conference backdrops. The BKT logo will appear TNPL marketing initiatives.

The tournament will feature 32 matches across July 19 and August 15. Dindigul and Tirunelveli will host 15 matches each, with Chennai hosting the remaining two, including the final.
Meanwhile, the TNPL and its commercial associates have received a shot in the arm as star off-spinner R Ashwin is confirmed to play all the matches. The 32-year star has shared the news on his Instagram page.
Ashwin, playing for Nottinghamshire in the English Country Cricket, has been in tremendous form this season. He has taken 23 wickets from three matches, including six each in both the innings of the last game he played for Nottinghamshire.
