Dwayne Bravo, the Gujarat Lions all-rounder, has been rendered out of action this Indian Premier League. The entertainer is making mark with is other passion – music. The all-rounder who created waves with his hit song ‘Champion’, and made many an Indian fans with his other number Chalo Chalo may soon be seen in another track, featuring Team India’s two biggest stars – Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The number ‘Champion’ by the 33-year-old Trinidadian was a hit during the 2016 World Twenty20 in India, which was won by West Indies, according to media reports. In a video uploaded by Gujarat Lions on Twitter, Bravo is talking about his next song with step-brother Darren Bravo, who is representing Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. The champion has over a billion views on Youtube.
Bravo goes: “Let us go over to India, India, India. I call up a boy named Kohli, Kohli, Kohli. We tell him to WhatsApp Dhoni, Dhoni, Dhoni.” As the all-rounder ends the song, the two burst out laughing. Kohli also featured in Bravo’s song ‘Chalo, Chalo’, which features many cricketers like Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Michael Hussey and Irfan Pathan. His other Hindi pop number if Shivi Singh has registered over 42 lakh youtube views in less than a month.
The Gujarat Lions star player has been out of action since December after suffering a hamstring injury during the Big Bash League in Australia.
