The duo has spent a lot of time together playing for the club and country. Playing for Real Madrid and for Brazil, Roberto Carlos & Ronaldo formed a close bond. The Brazilian heroes were actually much closer than what many know with the duo often speaking about their affection for each other on various occasions.

Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos played together during one of the brightest eras of Brazilian football. The duo was a part of the South American outfits’ star-studded lineup that not only entertained the fans but also sent shockwaves to their oppositions with the performances. They are heavily remembered for helping Brazil lift the World Cup back in 2002.

Speaking about their close bond, Roberto Carlos has gone on to claim how he has slept in more rooms with Ronaldo Nazario than his own wife. The Brazilian legend was once quoted saying, “I met Ronaldo in 1993 and from that moment we always shared the room. Everything Ronaldo does, he does well. I have slept with him more times than with my own wife. I did everything with Ronaldo. With and without limits. He’s been my brother.”

Roberto Carlos spent over 11 years at Real Madrid where he gathered more than 125 appearances. He won three Champions League and four LaLiga successes with Los Blancos. Ronaldo on the other end featured for various clubs in the likes of PSV, Barcelona, and Inter Milan. His time with Real Madrid saw him win only one domestic league crown with the LaLiga outfit.
