Burger man in charge for Sony’s sports marketing

Sony Pictures Network has got the McDonald’s India marketing man for promotion and marketing of its nine sports channels.

Kedar Teny has joined the network as Senior Vice President, Marketing &OAP. He will be reporting to Rajesh Kaul, President, Distribution and Sports Business, SPN. Teny will be handling marketing and promotions for SPN’s nine sports channels, Insidesport sources have confirmed.

Teny was earlier with McDonalds’s India, Hardcastle Restaurants – West and South, Director, marketing and digital, for nearly three years.

Teny started his career in advertising and worked on many iconic brands at Lowe Worldwide in India and South East Asia and thereon made the shift to Marketing at Airtel and then Unilever.

He brings with him 17 years of extensive experience in the field of Brand Management, Strategic Planning and Advertising.

Teny holds a Masters in Business Administration, with a specialisation in Marketing, from the Institute of Management Studies, Indore.
