Turkish Valorant Professional Ertuğrul ‘TheCady’ Koç was presented with a ban by Vanguard as he logged into a Valorant account that had earlier used cheats. This was later brought under the light by G2 Esports’s content creator Lothar who tweeted about the same.
A turkish player @thecadyxd got Vanguard banned because he logged on an account that used cheats in the past.
This is a very good moment to say
that account sharing is against ToS, you should never buy an account or login to other accounts, you might get banned for it. pic.twitter.com/kKeJIedv2W

According to Riot’s Terms of services, a player will be served with a ban if he or she is found being involved in Account trading or logs on into a different account. This brings most of us to the question whether selling your account or logging in from different credentials is ethical?

SHARE OR SELL ACCOUNT OR LOGIN CREDENTIALS
Under this section of the terms and conditions, Riot Games says:
When you create an account with us, we require you to select a unique username and password (collectively, your “Login Credentials”). You agree that:
You can’t share your account or Login Credentials with anyone.
You can’t sell, transfer or allow any other person to access your account or Login Credentials, or offer to do so.
You must keep your Login Credentials secret.
Just as “thecadyxd” logged into a different account, the one that had cheats used on it previously, he got presented with a ban.
With the TOS clause 1.4 violated along with the alleged use of cheats and hacks, his main Valorant account was also banned as well.
Loather in his Tweet also talked about stopping the use of Account trading in Valorant which has of late become a serious issue, which has reached to a high extent with the use of cheats and the presence of griefers.
It happens in every game, where people fall prey to such incidents where they buy an account that had cheats used on them previously.
