CM PUNK AEW Rampage – WWE Champion CM PUNK: The former WWE Champion and the one who just broke out of the shackles in WWE and redefined pro-wrestling got the loudest Pop in the history of All-Elite Wrestling.

Back in 2014, CM Punk left WWE following some creative frustrations and a sour relationship with the WWE management, including Chairman Vince McMahon. His last assignment with the company was the Royal Rumble PPV event in 2014 where he was infamously pulled out of the ring by corporate Kane, despite the latter being eliminated earlier in the royal rumble match.

WWE News: No one can forget his legendary ‘Pipebomb’ promo

CM PUNK AEW Rampage – WWE Champion CM PUNK: In 2011, CM Punk ripped apart WWE in an episode of Monday Night Raw with his spine-shattering pipebomb promo. That was the very moment when CM Punk- The Best in the World became a god for the pro-wrestling fans, all around the world. The Pipebomb promo changed the perception of every pro-wrestling fan and earned Punk the moniker of “Voice of the Voiceless.”

He was the one who accentuated WWE Universe’s voice and made WWE look bleak under his aura. Vince McMahon was visibly upset with this promo of his & the rift between him and the management started ever since then. 

WWE News: CM Punk has his sights set on Darby Allin

Darby Allin is one of the young rising superstars in AEW. His stocks have seen immense growth in a short span of time. He indirectly indicated CM Punk’s return on previous shows and now Punk has got him in his sights.

In his promo, Punk mentioned that he would be making his much-awaited AEW in-ring debut on September 5 at AEW All-Out in Chicago and Darby Allin will be the first individual to wrestle ‘The Best in the World.’

Saturday, August 20, 2021, will go down in the history books when CM Punk made his AEW debut at the AEW Rampage: First Dance show at the United Center in Chicago.
