Copa America, Brazil vs Colombia: Three players to watch out for BRA vs COL: Brazil has had an excellent start to their Copa America campaign having drubbed Venezuela and Peru in their first two matches.
The current holders of the trophy are scheduled to face Colombia in their next fixture at the Olympic Stadium. The Selecao are currently on a nine match winning run and remain one of the favourites to lift their 10th Copa America title.
Colombia on the other hand registered a slender 1-0 win in their opening match but couldn’t collect any points in the next two matches.
Neymar(Brazil): If Brazil is to defend their Copa America title they will have to rely on Neymar. He has been the star attraction of the team and has so far fulfilled his potential as he already had two goals in his kitty.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward didn’t have a fruitful season with his club and would be hoping to avenge his mistakes with his country.
The 29 year old forward is always a threat on his days. Selecao manager Tite deployed the forward in the no.10 role in the last match and it remains to be seen where he will start in the next match.
Fred(Brazil): The Manchester United midfielder hadn’t been able to cement his places in the national team. But Fred impressed in the recently concluded season and as a result, the 28 year old has been a regular feature in the national team in this tournament so far.
He can be equally effective on both sides of the pitch and with Colombia having a formidable attacking line Fred’s breaking up play would be very useful.
Davinson Sanchez(Colombia): Davinson Sanchez might not be the most recognisable names in the football circuit but his defensive attributes have been a delight to watch.
The Tottenham Hotspur defender will have the responsibility to keep the Brazilian attackers out of their penalty box.
