Tridents after one defeat are at the rock bottom of the six team league with -2.350 net run rate. A win over St Kitts and Nevis Patriots can lift them to the fourth position on the points table.

The top two teams in the league, Guyana Amazon Warriors and Trinbago Knight Riders have each won their three games till date.

The Carlos Braithwaite-led St Kitts & Nevis Patriots will be gunning for an outright to further consolidate their No. 3 position, which though will not be challenged at least for now even by an adverse result.

The team is deprived of big names except for skipper Braithwaite and Pakistani veteran Mohammad Hafeez.

The Barbados Tridents stand to make major gains as the win can just catapult them from the rock bottom to the fourth position, and build pressure on their rivals for the day who have played two games more. Pakistani-imports Imad Wasim, Wahab Riaz, Sandeep Lamichhane, Sai Hope and Jason Holder hold a lots of hope for the team.
