The newly rechristened St Lucia franchise conceded 255 in their 20 overs, the second-highest total in CPL history, with Andre Russell scoring the fastest 50 of the tournament. While chasing The Kings never got going as they were bowled out for 135, with their 120-run loss being the biggest in CPL history.
Meanwhile, the Trinbago Knight Riders returned to winning ways following their loss to the Guyana Amazon Warriors. Isuru Udana picked up five wickets as Barbados Royals were bowled out for 122, before Kieron Pollard led from the front, scoring an unbeaten 58 to seal the win.
