Cristiano Ronaldo wants to visit India ‘soon’

Real Madrid’s Portuguese forward star Cristiano Ronaldo recently added visiting India to his wish-list. He did so by going live on the social networking app- Instagram. The occasion was none less than a celebration for the star as he became the first ever sportsperson to reach 100 million followers on Instagram.

Ronaldo thanked his fans from all over the world. He looked jolly and cheerful whilst he acknowledged the support of his followers from various countries. The Portuguese star mentioned a few countries during the live video. Among them was a message for his fans in India. “India is a place that I wanna go soon,” he said in the video.

While Ronaldo just mentioned the name, it can be a moment of rejoice for his Indian fans. He did not elaborate on whether he had any upcoming plans for visit. But his fans will be eager to see his presence on Indian land.

Earlier, his former Portugal teammate Luis Figo came to India for the launch of Premier Futsal tournament. While his current manager at Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane was in India at the end of the last season.

However, it is the four-time Ballon d’Or winner and the star player Cristiano Ronaldo whose wish will now be every Indian fan’s wish.
