CSK vs DC in IPL 2021: CSK’s Dhoni disappoints once again big time after two-ball duck- Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni disappointed his fans once again in their opening contest of IPL 2021 against Delhi Capitals. He got out for a duck to DC’s Avesh Khan. The right-handed-batsman came in at 137/5 as CSK lost Suresh Raina for 54. Despite training hard in the CSK’s practice session over the last few weeks, MS Dhoni failed to deliver in the opening match against DC. He could not last more than just 2 balls.
Last year, the 39-year-old had a dismal run in the IPL where he scored just 200 runs in 14 matches at an average of 25 without a single fifty. His failure in the previous season meant CSK struggled in the previous season. They did not qualify in the playoffs.
As per reports, IPL 2021 could be MS Dhoni’s last season at the Chennai Super Kings. But there is no official confirmation.
He needs to produce match-winning innings in CSK’s bid to their fourth IPL title.
