None of the MI batsman with a exception of Saurabh Tiwari (50* of 40 balls) could stay on crease for long. Mumbai ended with 136/8 in 20 overs in reply to 156/6 by CSK.
For Chennai Deepak Chahar as ususal was brilliant as he picked 2 wickets for just 19 runs in 4 overs. Ever dependable Dwayne Bravo picked 3 wickets for 23 runs.
Ruturaj Gaikwad Brilliant Show: Earlier Chennai Super Kings big wigs failed but young Ruturaj Gaikwad came good as he scored brilliant 88* of 57 balls. Aided by Gaikwad’s brilliant innings CSK finished with 156 runs of 20 overs. Dwayne Bravo chipped in with 24 of just 8 balls to give last minute impetus to CSK innings.
