  • Shimron Hetmyer vs Andre Russell

The West Indian flavour is what makes every T20 league so exciting and in DC vs KKR game, we will get to see two of the most destructive batsman from the Caribbean. Shimron Hetmyer, in the last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, smashed Kyle Jamieson for three sixes in an over to bring Delhi back into the game. This was Shimron’s first fifty for DC. The way he was striking the ball, DC will want him to continue on the same path in the next game.

On the other hand, to counter the Hetmyer threat, KKR has arguably one of the most dangerous batsmen in the history of T2O cricket i.e. Andre Russell. The destructive batsman from West Indies was unfortunate to get run-out in the last game against Punjab Kings. While in the match against Rajasthan Royals batting at number seven Russell could not get going on the flat track of Wankhede Stadium. Russell still has scored 116 runs so far in the season with one fifty under his belt.

  • Prithvi Shaw vs Shubman Gill

KKR opener Shubman Gill will be up against his under-19 captain Prithvi Shaw. Both the talismanic batsman will be opening the batting for their respective side. Shaw has scored 187 runs so far in IPL 2021 with the help of two fifties and a strike rate of 153.27. On the other hand, Gill is still in search of any form as he has just managed to score 89 runs in six matches. His strike rate has always been under scrutiny, batting in powerplay the right-hand batsman has scored at a strike rate of 120.27.

  • Kagiso Rabada vs Pat Cummins

Two of the best bowlers of this generation Kagiso Rabada and Pat Cummins will face each other in DC vs KKR match. Rabada, who was the Purple Cap winner of the last IPL, has failed to replicate his success this year. The South African bowler has picked just five wickets so far in five games. His economy is also closing towards 9 runs per over.

On the other hand, Pat Cummins the bowler has performed under par with the ball as he has just picked six wickets in six games, leaking runs at an economy of 9.32. But he has shined with the bat scoring a fifty against Chennai Super Kings and almost winning the game for his team.
