DC vs MI, IPL 2021: A battle royale is all set to take place when defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) will take on last year finalists Delhi Capitals (DC) on Tuesday in Chennai. Up against a confident side, the Rohit Sharma-led side will need to address their middle-order woes to continue the winning momentum. Mumbai have had an edge over Delhi in their last four encounters, something which certainly is a big booster for them. Delhi, however, are riding on confidence after an impressive win against Punjab Kings. The battle between the best will also witness some individual wars too
DC vs MI, IPL 2021: Quinton de Kock vs Anrich Nortje
The two South African national teammates will battle each other in the first clash of the season. While de Kock has already played two games, and looked in decent touch, Nortje is yet to feature in his first game of IPL 2021.

DC vs MI, IPL 2021: Rohit Sharma – Kagiso Rabada
Though Rohit Sharma has not sharp so far, no one can raise doubts over his batting prowess. On his day, the MI skipper can single-handedly decide the fate of the match. However, Rohit will face a tough task to score against Kagiso Rabada. Although the DC pacer is yet to fire all cylinders, his performance last year will certainly play with Rohit’s mind.
DC vs MI, IPL 2021: Suryakumar Yadav – Ravichandran Ashwin
Suryakumar Yadav is the only Mumbai batsman who has looked in good touch this season. And finally getting a national debut has added confidence to his otherwise brilliant batting skills. SKY produced a whirlwind in the opening game against Royal Challengers Bangalore and followed it in the next game. He has been a consistent performer for the franchise since joining them.
But against an experienced Ravichandran Ashwin, Surya will have to play cautiously. Ashwin has outfoxed the best of the world with his brilliant deliveries even on pitches that are not spin-friendly. He is known for pulling out something unexpected from his bag, will be trusted with the ball in the powerplay too.
DC vs MI, IPL 2021: Shikhar Dhawan – Trent Boult
Shikhar Dhawan is probably playing the best cricket in his IPL career. Three games and 186 runs, Gabbar is going all guns this season. He has already hit two half-centuries and fell short of eight runs to score his first ton of the season. Currently sitting at the top position in the leading run-scorers list, Dhawan will want to continue his purple patch.
To intercept Dhawan, MI has Trent Boult in their artillery. Coupling with Bumrah, the Kiwi speedster has been an indispensable part of Mumbai’s bowling force.
