Cascade, India’s largest annual inter-school cultural festival, has partnered with M.S. Dhoni’s sports apparel brand Seven. The Rhiti Sports-owned brand will be the apparel sponsor for the event.
Cascade, celebrating its silver jubilee this year, will take place over two weekends, 5th and 6th as well as 12th and 13th of August, 2017.
Seven, the retail arm of Rhiti Group, will be the apparel sponsor for the event. The brand solely echoes the #changemakers attitude of its global brand ambassador, cricketing icon and former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and offers a portfolio of footwear, specifically meant for running and training and apparels and accessories, for running, training and after sports. The brand has various ranges for men and women.
Raunak Kapoor, Chairman, Cascade 25, speaking about the grand event said that “we are extremely elated to announce the completion of our 25 years of legacy. This is indeed a momentous occasion for us. Over the years, Cascade has become synonymous with creativity, talent, enthusiasm – and an opportunity for today’s heavily fraught school going child to just express himself or herself. With over 59 events spread across various section heads like fine arts, literary arts, performing arts, informals, CasKids, Caspro and our star event, Numero Uno, every student gets a chance to showcase their talent. We are making the competition for the much revered trophy even tougher and a lot more interesting.”
Cascade 25 will also host Aashayein, which started last year. It is an event where over 300 students from the lesser privileged schools of Mumbai, including Each One Teach One, Angel Xpress Foundation, RAH- Reach A Heart and Spark A Change, etc will be participating in various competitions to showcase their talents and stand a chance to win a fully sponsored scholarship by JNAA. The performance-based talent hunt is specifically meant for underprivileged students where they can showcase their skills and win an opportunity to hone their craft.
Cascade also encapsulates several sporting events, including swimming, squash, badminton and table tennis.
