India will now take on England in the five-match T20I series, scheduled to take place in Ahmedabad from March 12. After that, the team will travel to Pune for three-match ODI series that will be played from March 23 behind closed doors due to rising COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra.
Following that, they will continue the bio-bubble leaving for their respective IPL franchises. IPL will begin on April 9 and will be played at neutral venues without crowd in the league phase.
On Sunday, India head coach Ravi Shastri said that the bio-bubble has been tough on players but they have been mentally tough to win two Test series, against Australia in Australia and against England at home.
