Dilip Kumar Passes Away: Legendary film actor Dilip Kumar breathed his last on Wednesday at the age of 98. The Padma Vibhushan recipient had been facing multiple health issues for the past few weeks and eventually succumbed to his prolonged illness. Dilip Kumar’s family friend Faisal Farooqui confirmed the news of his death on the actor’s official Twitter account and tributes have flown in ever since for the film legend known as the “Tragedy King”. Cricketers including Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman paid tributes to the legend.
Dilip Kumar Passes Away: The sporting fraternity also paid their respects to Dilip Kumar after the news of his death on Wednesday. Renowned commentator Harsha Bhogle took to Twitter to express his grief and wrote that the Dilip Saab was an “inspiration to many”. Former Indian batsman and commentator VVS Laxman also paid his respects to the legendary actor and suggested that the “Tragedy King” will on through his exemplary work.

Dilip Kumar Passes Away: Indian boxer and Olympic medalist Vijender Singh also paid his respects to the late actor, sharing the late actor’s picture on special media while simply writing “Rest in Peace”. Singh addressed the late actor as Yusuf Saab, going by his original name Mohammed Yusuf Khan. Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer wrote, “Dilip Kumar was one of the greatest icons of the film industry and he will live on forever through his work”.
