Edelweiss, the Japanese insurance brand and partners of the Indian Olympic Association, have released their latest video campaign #BeUnlimited with Dipa Karmakar for the Asian Games, 2018. The video, that opens with a close of Dipa’s eyes brimming with confidence, depicts the Edelweiss philosophy “no limit is a limit”.
Dipa Karmakar performs a vault in the super slow motion video, which runs the narration No Technique is Perfect… No sweat is futile… No record in invincible… No injury is powerful than an athlete… And, No limit is a limit. The video then turns to a pictorial graphics of ace Indian athletes, including Saina Nehwal, Heena Siddhu, Rani Rampal and boxer Mandeep Jangra.
Earlier in March, the Japanese insurance company had done a similar video for the Commonwealth Games with India’s badminton queen Saina Nehwal in the lead role and Dipa Karmakar featuring in the pictorial graphic later. The video had a similar creative, theme and the message with a slightly different narrative.
Edelweiss and the Indian Olympic Association journey which has started with the 2014 Incheon Asian Games will continue till the Tokyo 2020 Asian Games.
Edelweiss has also announced a ₹50 lakh Life Insurance Cover to all the athletes who are representing India at the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang from August 18 to September 2.
