The sixth game of the Dream 11 Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 will be played between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday. Virat Kohli-led RCB are coming into the game with a 10-run win against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their campaign opener and will want to continue their winning streak.
KXIP, on the other hand, came close to registering the first win of the season before that controversial “one short-run” decision. Delhi Capitals, subsequently, sealed a victory in the Super Over. Skipper KL Rahul will be keen on returning to winning way against the franchise that he was once part of.
The match also gives a chance to fantasy players to create the best XI. Both the sides boast some star names in their respective camps which might give them a headache. So, InsideSport Moneyball brings you 5 players you must-have in your Dream 11 IPL 2020 fantasy team.
Dream 11 IPL 2020 KXIP vs RCB Predictions
If there is an RCB match, you cannot build a team without ‘Mr Dependable’ Virat Kohli. The skipper is the highest run-getter, amassing a total of 5,426 runs in 178 matches. He did look a little rusty in the opening game against Sunrisers Hyderabad but it has been the story for almost everyone returning to the pitch after such a long time. Known for his work ethics, Kohli would give much heave to that performance and neither should the fantasy players. He will now be looking to make the most of this match and guide the team home.
The Karnataka boy, will be leading his side against a team he once player for. Rahul understands Bangalore better than anyone else and knows how Kohli thinks. It would add to his advantage when he opens for Punjab. He too had a dull night in the opener, but now with his body warmed up well, he would be eyeing to repeat his 2018 IS Bindra Stadium antics where he scored the fastest IPL fifty — 51 off 14 balls.
Scoring an impressive 89, Agarwal almost single-handedly took KXIP home in their opening game against DC. The right-hander was calculative and did a fine job mixing caution with aggression. An in-form batsman like him will do wonders for your team and hence he should not be missed on.
Mohammad Shami was exceptional with the ball against DC and returned with figures of 3/15. He will once again be expected to spearhead the KXIP bowling attack as they take on RCB in their second game. He can hit the deck hard and swing the ball at pace and hence, it will be interesting to see how the battle between him and RCB’s top and middle-order pans out.
He played a vital role, scalping three wickets, including that of a well-set Jonny Bairstow, as RCB beat SRH in the first game. Yuzvendra Chahal will once again be crucial to the team’s success as they take on KXIP in their second game of the season.
