Indian tennis fans will soon be able to watch the ‘Tie Break Tens’ action. DSPORT has required the rights for new international tennis property for the Indian territory. The third edition of Tie Break Tens – tennis equivalent to T-20 format of cricket – will take place in Madrid, Spain, on Thursday. It will mark the first time an Indian sports channel will telecast this new format of tennis.
Tie Break Tens, involves a prize purse of US$ 200,000 each for men’s and women’s champions. This is close to French Open championship. This is new, superfast version of tennis. The Madrid event features some of the top talent of tennis world, like Novak Djokovic, Maria Sharapova, Grigor Dimitrov, Stan Wawrinka, Kei Nishikori, Eugenie Bouchard, Jo Konta, Simon Halep, Garbine Muguruza in the round-robin, point-based format.
