The Pakistan selectors have named a 16-man squad for the upcoming must-win tie to be played in Ageas Bowl, Southampton, starting on Thursday, August 13.
Left-handed batsman Imam-ul-Haq has been recalled to the side after a batting collapse in the series opener. While the bowlers looked a lethal force, the batting department failed to deliver the goods and will be an area the Pakistan selectors will be looking to adress. Right-arm fast bowler Sohail Khan as also been included to provide a backup in the Pakistan pace department.

Despite sitting pretty in the driver’s seat for the majority of the Test match, Pakistan succumbed to a superb rearguard partnership between Jos Buttler and Chris Woakes, meaning that the English side ran away with a memorable victory.
However, Pakistan would fancy their chances at the Ageas Bowl in the absence of Ben Stokes, who isn’t available for the remainder of the series.
