The weather forecast is a lot better for the next three days. Each of the next three days of the Test is to have 98 overs, and we will hopefully see full days’ play.

England vs West Indies 1st Test Match, Day 3 Live starts at 3:30 pm on Thursday.

West Indies captain Jason Holder was the star of the day as his six wickets helped the visitors bundle out England for 204 in the first innings.

England skipper Ben Stokes was the highest scorer for his side with 43 runs on board.

The Stokes-Butler partnership was finally broken by Holder when he forced a nick off Stokes and the ball flew into the gloves of wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich. In his very next over, Holder got a nick off Buttler and Dowrich dived to his right to complete a one-handed catch. Buttler finished with 35 off 57 deliveries.

After that, the English batting lineup collapsed like a pack of card as they finished with 204 on the scoreboard.

Kraigg Brathwaite and John Campbell walk out to bat for the visitors, but James Anderson provided the breakthrough to break a 43 runs partnership after trapping John Campell lbw. At stumps, West Indies train by 147 runs, as Brathwaite will take the crease against Mark Woods when play resumes tomorrow.
