England all-rounder Ben Stokes says star pacer Jofra Archer needs full support of his teammates following his bio-secure protocol breach which led to his dropping from the ongoing second Test against the West Indies. Archer will undergo two COVID-19 tests during a five-day isolation period after his unsanctioned trip to Brighton between the first and second Tests.

England vs West Indies 2nd Test Live

Ben Stokes put up a stellar display to put England in the driver’s seat on Day 2 of the ongoing Manchester Test. England finished their innings at 469/9 as Joe Root decided to declare with 18 overs left in the day. Ben Stokes looked in sublime form but was unfortunately sent back to the pavilion after scoring 176, just shy of a double century.

Chase was the star bowler for the visitors as he finished with a five-wicket haul and only his third in Tests. Kemar Roach also picked his first couple of wickets in the series and also claimed the important wicket of Stokes. Sent in to bat late in the day, West Indies lost the opener, John Campbell, early for 12. West Indies ended the day at 32/1 and trailing by 437 runs.
