England beat Croatia 1-0: Raheem Sterling breaks deadlock to hand England first-ever win in Euro opening game
England vs Croatia Highlights: England started incredibly well, and could’ve scored several early on, especially when Foden hit the post. Croatia slowly came back into the game, passed the ball around rather well, but they lacked a potent threat upfront. Jordan Pickford really didn’t have a lot to do in the England goal.
There will be bigger tests for England, but off to a good start.
Group D: England are the current Group C toppers after returning with all 3 points against 2018 World Cup runners up Croatia.
