The most popular sports club, Real Madrid is bringing a lifetime experience for it fans. The La Liga club has launched a unique new show on the social network that is available on the new Watch video platform in the U.S. and for fans worldwide on the ‘Hala Madrid’ Show Page.
The club teamed up with GoPro on ‘Hala Madrid’, a behind-the-scenes documentary series narrated by actor Orlando Bloom.
An eight-episode series will take fans behind the scenes with Real Madrid and give them literally a 360-degree view of the organization as the video was shot in 2016 in partnership with GoPro.
“With this new show on Watch, our passionate community of Real Madrid fans on Facebook will have an opportunity to view something very special,” Rafael de los Santos, Global Digital Director for Real Madrid, said in a statement “We believe this series will not only resonate with these Real Madrid fans, but will also be interesting to the millions of people around the world who consume content on Facebook.”
The trailer and the first two episodes are available for the fans on show’s page and new episode will soon follow.
Real Madrid for the past year has sought to engage its massive fan following on Facebook, taking its Real Madrid TV content to Facebook Live. And it has paid off.
Earlier this month when the club broadcast its match against ACF Fiorentina on Facebook Live, the game was viewed over 4.3 million times.
Real Madrid also became the first sports club to top 100 million likes on Facebook, and superstar forward Cristiano Ronaldo has the most likes of any athlete on the social network, with more than 122 million.
