Formula 1 News- Lewis Hamilton skydiving: Formula 1 champion and Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is known for his unbelievable antics on the track but his life outside it seems to be even more exciting. The seven-time world champion recently shared a video on Instagram handle where he could be seen skydiving in Dubai. He mentioned that he has been learning the sport for sometime now and has been doing it for a couple of years. The British driver will be seen in action in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on June 6.

The skydiving video shared by Hamilton shows him performing the stunts after jumping out of the Skydive Dubai plane.

I’ve been learning to sky dive over the past couple years. It’s one of my favourite things to do in my spare time,” Hamilton says in the caption.

He revealed that this was the first time he tried to fly on his back, something he was “useless at.

After this I went to spend time in the wind tunnel to practice,” Hamilton said, encouraging fans to stay tuned to see how he progresses.

Formula 1 News: Lewis Hamilton F1 ranking after Monaco Grand Prix

Dutch racer and Hamiton’s fiercest rival Marc Vertstappen climbed to the top spot after finishing No.1 in the Monaco Grand Prix. Verstappen is in the pole position with 105 points. He will be hoping to extend the lead on Hamilton in Baku.

Verstappen’s victory in Monaco has helped Red Bull take a lead in the constructors’ table as they are on top with 149 points, but Mercedes with 148  are not that far behind and they trail Red Bull, by only one point and will continue putting pressure on them to reclaim their Constructors Championship.
