Filipino professional boxer Manny Pacquiao has asked his Twitter followers to choose his opponent for the defence of his title in the United Arab Emirates.
It is a novel way to identify the opponent by the popular boxer, something that may not have been tried earlier. The tweet has had an enthusiastic response among his followers.
Who do you want me to fight next in the UAE?

The WBO world welterweight champion also tweeted “See you in UAE for my next fight. #TeamPacquiao”. There were earlier reports that he would take on Australian Jeff Horn in Brisbane.
Pacquiao’s 108,000 followers have been asked to choose between, Terence Crawford, Amir Khan or Kell Brook as his next opponent in the UAE. Among the votes that have been received Khan is emerging as the favourite choice.
Brands and sportspersons are now increasing taking to social media to connect with their followers. It helps them gauge the mood of their followers and general public.
Khan is the co-promoter of Super Fight League (SFL) along with Bill Dosanjh, which is currently in progress in India.
38-year-old Pacquiao, who won an election in Philippines after earning a name as a boxer, had briefly announced retirement last year. However, he made a comeback against Jessie Vargas in Las Vegas in November.
