FAUG Mobile Launch: Check out the Core Team which made India’s own PUBG-like battle royale game, Made in India game, FAUG’s release date is now out, and has managed to do enough to engage the audience. Even though a part of the PUBG community might not be seeing the game in the competitive scene soon, it doesn’t take away the fact that the team behind FAUG is strong and has a lot of experience.
For the people who don’t know, FAUG is made by nCore Games, a Bengaluru based mobile and interactive entertainment company. The company is headed by Dayanidhi M G, the CEO on nCore Games. He has vast experience in the gaming industry, having worked with RockYou previously as the Managing director.
His LinkedIn work experience read “While heading the Indian office, also in charge of our office in Thailand. Specialised in building and running cost-effective operations, responsible for multi-million $ P&L of all games of RockYou including mid-core, casual and social casino on both mobile and PC platforms. Specialised in running LiveOps to enhance the life of long-tail games by record times.”
nCore games have Vishal Gondal as the advisor and investor. He has been the name linked to the release of FAUG in the country and has earned that name for himself. Also known as the poster boy for the Indian Gaming Industry, he has been a part of few of the biggest names when it comes to games in India– one of them being Indiagames.
Ganesh Hande is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of nCore Games. Ganesh is also a previous employee of RockYou, and worked there as Head of Product- Games and has the experience of leading a team of “30+ employees including Product Managers, Game Designers, Game Producers and LiveOps associates.”
Also, a part of the core team is Thara Jacob who is the CTO of nCore Games and was previously the Head of Engineering at RockYou. There she was in charge of ensuring “every engineering deliverable that goes out of the Bangalore studio” amongst other things.
Arindam Mitra is the Associate Director for nCore Games and has the duty of removing various roadblocks and helps in the market research for the product. Manohar Reddy is the Product Lead for nCore Games and was formerly a part of RockYou where he “Planned and executed engaging in-game content such as PVE campaign levels, gear, items, prizes, and events to meet and exceed studio revenue targets for Top-grossing mobile and Facebook games.”
FAUG has a strong team backing it, with a good response through the pre-registration link of FAUG, the game is expected to do well in the country.
FAUG New trailer: FAUG (Fearless And United Guards), the much anticipated Made in India game by nCore, is getting launched on January 26, 2021. The launch date was accompanied by a very theatrical trailer and an engaging background score. The opening season of the game is set in Ladakh where the Indian soldiers will take one the PLA troops.
How FAUG is different from PUBG?
The Made in India Game is ready to be launched. As PUBG still search for the ways to come back to the India eco-system, the game is all set to be launched with registrations already started for the new entrant.
