FPL double game week 2021: BEST PLAYERS TO OWN FOR FPL GW19

FPL double game week 2021: Gameweek 19 is about to commence and FPL managers will be weighing up some massive decisions ahead of the action-packed six days of football. Here is the list of potential players one can scout to maximise their haul in this tricky week which features certain teams playing twice. There are currently 15 fixtures scheduled to fall between Saturday afternoon and Thursday evening with nine teams in action twice during that period.

FPL double game week 2021: Goalkeepers
Lukasz Fabianski (£5.1): West Ham might be the safest defensive bet as things stand, playing at home to Burnley and West Brom.
Fabiański is still flagged as a slight fitness concern, but he’s reportedly back in training so he should be okay.

Sam Johnstone (£4.5): West Brom have been losing heavily at home, so it’s probably just as well that their two matches this Gameweek are away to Wolves and West Ham and with Sam Allardyce in charge there’s some hope for at least one clean sheet out of those two.

FPL double game week 2021: Defenders
Joao Cancelo (£5.8) and Ruben Dias (£5.8): Manchester City’s Portuguese defensive duo Cancelo and Ruben Dias will surely feature in the line up for most of the managers as they go into the week with two home fixtures against Palace and Villa. Considering, City’s recent defensive form where they have conceded just thrice in their last eleven league games, if not both at least one of them should be your pick en route to having a solid defence.

Ben Chilwell (£6.1): With a promising run of fixtures against Fulham and Leicester and Ben’s knack of getting in the opposition’s half to provide with an assist every now and then, he is a solid contender as well.

Vladimir Coufal (£4.7): With two home games and his attacking threat from the down the wings proves for him to be worthy enough for a spot in your team.

FPL double game week 2021: Midfielders
Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8): He is currently is 11/8 to get on the scoresheet on Sunday at home to Palace and with the second game being at home to Villa, he will not be only a strong contender for the Captaincy but also a good punt for triple captain option for those of you who are yet to use it.

Bruno Fernandes (£11.3): Mr. Consistent has been one of the most popular picks throughout the season. He almost guarantees either a goal or an assist in every game and is again a must-have player going into this doubleheader.

Tomas Soucek (£5.3): The West Ham midfielder has scored four goals in his last seven games and is an amazing player to get into your team. Also, considering that many managers will opt for the Bench Boost in this week, he is will prove to be an asset with the price of just £5.3m and going into the game week with two home games.

Jarrod Bowen (£6.3): With impressive West Ham heading into double fixtures against Burnley and West Brom at home. Jarrod Bowen is the stand-out for us as he is often the centre of the Hammers attack, controlling the play in and around the opposition box. After selling Haller last week, Michail Antonio (£6.2m) is expected to return to the starting line-up for the London club and this can only be great news for Bowen who will relish the chance to play alongside him again as he poses a threat in the air and in behind, both Burnley and West Brom will have their work cut out for sure with these two leading the line.

FPL double game week 2021: Strikers
Jamie Vardy (£ 10.1): With the star striker going into two tricky but home fixtures in GW19 is another player who many managers will eye. The gun striker is renowned to be at his best in the big games. Vardy has already bragged scoring rights against Arsenal, Wolves, Tottenham and both the Manchester teams while he went on to score a hat-trick against City.

Pattrick Bamford (£6.6): Having been left out of the squad which saw Leeds bow out of the FA Cup against Crawley, he is all set to come back into in the starting XI. Sky bet have Bamford at 6-1 to score a brace against Brighton at home this weekend.

Gameweek 19 Deadline: Saturday, 16th January at 11:00 AM (GMT) and 4:30 PM (Indian Standard Time)
