French Open 2021: 5 big players who can give stiff competition to Novak Djokovic- The French Open 2021 will be World No. 1 Novak Djokovic’s 17th appearance at the Roland Garros. The Serbian has begun his warm-up for the big event with a straight-sets win over Germany’s Mats Moraing in his opening match in Belgrade Open. The 34-year-old had opted for an extra match practice on home soil ahead of the clay-court tournament in Paris. Djokovic will be bidding for his 19th Grand Slam to close the gap with Nadal and Roger Federer (20 Grand Slams each). He has a win percentage of 83 in the French Open. Other than Nadal and Federer, Djokovic will have to overpower Dominic Thiem, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev in order to claim his second title in Paris.
