Star signs Future Group as 8th associate sponsor for IPL broadcast - InsideSport

Future Group has come on board as an associate sponsor with Star India for the Vivo Indian Premier League 2018 broadcast. The IPL season 11 is scheduled to start from 7th April. Star Sports, in its first year of IPL broadcast, is expecting a combined viewership of 700 million on television and its VoD platform Hotstar.

Future Group is known for retail chains like Big Bazaar, fbb, Home Town, E Zone and EasyDay among several other business brands.

Future Group will join brands like AMFI, Asian Paints, Dream 11, MakeMyTrip, Parle Products, Polycab and Vimal Pan Masala as the associate sponsor for the IPL broadcast on Star Sports. The Future Group association takes IPL broadcast associate sponsors brands’ tally to eight. Vivo, Coca-Cola and Reliance Jio are the co-presenting sponsors.

Star Network, the official broadcaster of IPL, had earlier announced 34 brand associations for IPL 2018 broadcast. Future Group becomes the 35th brand to join the roster.
