Genshin Impact 2.1 releases today: The Genshin Impact version 2.1 update is all set to release on September 01, 2021. The new update will offer a lot of new content and features into the game. There are several NPCs that have been introduced in the version 2.0 update but they are not playable yet. Those NPCs will be available to players in the upcoming version 2.1 update. Genshin Impact 2.1 banners will include Raiden Shogun, Kujou Sara and Kokomi. MiHoYo has also collaborated with Horizon Zero Dawn to bring Aloy in the next update of Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact 2.1 releases today: miHoYo announced the arrival of Genshin Impact 2.1 update on September 01, 2021 at 6:00 AM (UTC+8). Players won’t be able to play the game from this time onwards as servers will undergo maintenance and the maintenance downtime will last about 5 hours. Though the server maintenance may take less time, it is expected that players will be able to enjoy Genshin Impact 2.1 update from 11:00 AM (UTC+8) onwards.

Here are the release timings for Genshin Impact 2.1 in India, USA and UK.

· India – 08:30 AM

· USA – 11:00 PM EST (August 31)

· UK – 4:00 AM

Genshin Impact 2.1 releases today: In order to compensate for the maintenance downtime, miHoYo will be offering 300 Primogems to players through the in-game mail after the update goes live. Players will also receive extra 60 Primogems per hour, if the server maintenance takes much longer than expected. In order to claim the 300 free Primogems, players will have to be at least Adventure Rank 5 or more. Players are advised to claim the reward as soon as they can, as the in-game free Primogems Compensation mail will expire after 30 days.
