Basically, the players need to use a Moonstinger Fishing rod and a different type of bait to catch the fish. This new type of bait is named Glowgrass Bait. The Moonfin fish are only available at night around 18:00 to 6:00. The location of the fish is north of Tartarasuna and east of Nazuchi Beach. You can see a Teleport Waypoint there directly south of the Moonfin’s fishing location.
The Genshin Impact players must complete the Over the Moon quest to get the Moonfin fish. That quest will give them the chance to get both the Moonstinger fishing rod and 20 Glowgrass Bait.
