Skyesports Valorant Championship 2.0: Team Global Esports win their first Valorant title as they are crowned the winners of. They took home 40,000 Rupees and the Cup along with HyperX and WD peripherals. The runners up Team Tamils took home 25,000 Rupees, and boy did they make GE work for it. This is truly one of the best Valorant India tournament

The tournament has definitely given the spotlight to these talented players and also given Indian community some direction after the ban on PUBG. Valorant has caught on especially considering its a PC game.

One of the best Valorant team Team Global Esports has surely proved that the departure of their star player Debanjan Das aka Deathmaker has not harmed their teams performance. In fact his replacement S.K.Rossi has really performed and surprised global esports fans with his crisp performance. Even thou Rossi was not part of the phase 1 championship he still managed to land 3rd place among highest frags with 171 kills.

Global Esports’ Hellranger (Bhavin Kotwani) who is the In game Valorant leader of the squad was crowned the MVP of the overall tournament including Phase 1. He has 200 frags to his name. He will be taking home some crazy HyperX peripherals.

His teammate Skillz (Jayanth) scored 2nd highest kills in the game at 194 just a little short. Nonetheless he took home peripherals from WD back  and the title of the star player of the tournament.

The Games

Team Tamilas gave Global Esports a great fight and the viewers some nail biting instances as the best of 5 games went on all the way to game 5. Its no doubt that these teams rank among the best in India. Lets dive into each game briefly to experience or re-experience the thrilling games that were showcased by these top teams of India.

Game 1 and 2 went Global Esports’ way at 13-7 and 13-9 on maps Ascent and Haven respectively. Both the games were dominated by Hellranger and SK Rossi, as SK Ross played jett which is his favourite character, with which he also had the highest frags with on game 3, a game GE lost.

What made the finale stand out was what happened next, Valorant India Team Tamilas came back hard winning game 3 and 4 played on Bind and Split, which was really surprising. Every time they managed to kill SK Rossi the match would seem in their favour. Though the games were a close 11-13 and 10-13.

The Final game came down to the last few rounds as it seemed like Team Tamilas were making a comeback from being down 8-10 to bringing the final score up to 13-11. Global Esports finally have a title win under their belt, as they truly deserve it. They have been the only team to take a series from Velocity gaming who is the 9th best team in the world.
